Shilpa Gore-Shah + Pinkish Shah | Architects
Shilpa Gore-Shah & Pinkish Shah are Founding Partners and Design Principals of S+PS Architects which they jointly founded in 1997. They are engaged in the study, reflection and practice of Design, Architecture and Urbanism. Their design approach is that every project is unique, and that the design should evolve through the particular characteristics of each project. Their work is influenced by their interest in History, Pedagogy, Travel and Common Sense. The various national & international awards, publications, lectures and exhibitions are a by-product of their work and testify to their evolving design sensibilities.
They are both alumni of the Sir J. J. College of Architecture and have completed their Master of Architecture Degree’s with distinction from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, USA. Pinkish has been a Gold Medalist of the University of Mumbai in 1992 and also attended the Post–Professional Program and Travel Fellowship chaired by Dr. Charles Moore at the University of Texas at Austin. Pinkish is currently Dean Academic Affairs at the Kamala Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environmental Studies where both Shilpa and he have been teaching since 2002. He also serves on the Board of Studies of Rachna Sansad’s Academy of Architecture in Mumbai. Shilpa is a co-opted member of the National Executive Council of the Institute of Indian Interior Designers since 2017.
