Shruti Chauhan | Poet, Writer and Spoken Word Artist
Shruti Chauhan is a poet, writer and spoken word artist based in Leicester, United Kingdom.
In Autumn 2015, she formed part of Three the Hard Way –
Part 2 (https://3thehardwaypoets.wordpress.com/)
with Jean Binta Breeze MBE and Lydia Towsey, and toured the poetry show nationally.
She has performed at festivals and events across the Midlands, including Art Reach’s Night of Festivals
(performing Tongue Fu), An Indian Summer, Barefoot, Leicester and Loughborough Mela and Inside Out. She is a Breakthrough Artist at Curve Theatre, Leicester,
and is currently in India working on her first solo show for May 2016.
Shruti will be conducting a spoken word workshop, exploring exercises for generating poetry,
and techniques for performance.
