‘Chouboli’ is set in times of Rajas and Maharajas, though the concerns addressed are as relevant today as are the contemporary references we might add. The story of Chouboli weaves an enchanting tapestry of royalty, clever princesses, gender equality, wondrous men, power, riddles and much more. The story gifts us insights through the lyrical beauty and wry wit of Vijaydan Detha.
The Storytellers, Pune, are a group of diverse professionals with a
single thread of connect, a ‘passion for storytelling’.
Their objective is to tell as many stories to as many people as often as possible, to keep alive the art of storytelling and restore our community spaces. They have been telling stories for many years across age groups including children, teens and adults. They perform at various types of places including colleges, corporate and literary centers.
