Himanshu Bajpai
Born and brought up in the storied by lanes of old Lucknow, Himanshu Bajpai is a journalist by profession. He has worked with organizations like Akashvani, Dainik Bhaskar and Tehelk. He is an expert in the oral culture of Lucknow. A storehouse of Urdu and Hindi poetry and Lucknowwa folk stories, Himanshu has completed his PhD thesis on the Awadh Akhbar published by the Naval Kishore Press of Lucknow. He has also translated two children’s books into Hindi - ‘Madhuban ka Nanha Mor’ and ‘Northway ka Yuddh’. His column with NBT, ‘Lakhnauaa’ is an extremely popular series.
