Kumar la Noce
Kumar La Noce is an Architecture studio established in 2012 by Bhavana Kumar and Nicola La Noce. The studio’s work is based on a typological understanding of space and a need to create evocative spaces informed by culture, pragmatism and collective memory.
In 2016, two of the firm’s projects were nominated for the NDTV GROHE Design and Architecture Awards under the Institutional and Restaurant Categories respectively. KLN’s Music School project was also nominated for the Kohler Bold Design Awards. The firm was chosen as one of 10 ‘Outstanding’ young Practices by the IIA Karnataka Chapter and works exhibited at the 10x10 Praxis Exhibition in Bangalore. In Jan 2017, KLN was chosen amongst the winners of ‘Young Designers 17’ by Indian Architect & Builder, one of the oldest and most respected architectural journals in the country.
