Mahesh Radhakrishnan
Mahesh Radhakrishnan is the founding partner of a small architectural practice with a long name - MOAD - The Madras Office for Architects and Designers. Before MOAD, his work experience includes designing a washing scrubber, studying the master plan revisions for Addis Abba as part of a team exercise, designing sets for theater, visually documenting the life of truck drivers on Indian highways, co -founding a guerrilla group to fix pot holes on roads at midnight, designing an interactive climbing game with friends and researching the transforming city of Chennai.
When he is not doing any of the above, he teaches as visiting faculty for the postgraduate and undergraduate programs at the School of Architecture and Planning, Chennai. He has been a guest critic at the University of Sydney and New South Wales and several other architecture schools in Chennai.
Mahesh received his bachelors degree from National Institute of Technology in Tiruchirapalli and was a research scholar at the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation in Germany.
