Architect
Shabbir Unwala
Shabbir Unwala graduated from Rachna Sansad, Mumbai, in 1986. He did a brief stint with architects Nachiket and Jayoo Patwardhan in Pune, and besides doing architecture got a chance to work on a Canadian movie called ‘Bye- Bye Blues’. He started his own practice in 1989 and has been chasing this chimera called architecture based on the belief that architecture resides in the relationship between man and nature, and it is sought in process rather than the product, and its responsiveness to both time and place.
