Waltraut Ritter
Waltraut Ritter is a founding member of the New Club of Paris, an association of experts on intellectual capital of cities, regions, and nations. She has been engaged for over a decade in the emerging field of knowledge/creative cities, an emerging, trans-disciplinary field at the intersection of urban planning, sociology and spatial aspects of knowledge. Most recently, she has been active in the Urban Innovations programme at the European Union Academic Programme in Hong Kong.
She enjoys a vantage point on Asia from her location in Sheung Wan, the emerging creative district in Hong Kong and she has some keen observations on both Mysore and Pune as aspiring knowledge cities.
